Pffical word on parade start time

This is the official word from the St Pete Pride organizers about the parade.

Please note we are to assemble at 9:00am at 31st street and 3rd ave N in Saint Petersburg.
Please feel free to come at 8:00am as we will be there with the car/float and we will need help decorating it. Also you will need time to get your beads on, etc. More updates to follow.

Please note the parade starts at 10:00am sharp rain or shine.

I would like to start by saying thank you all for signing up this year for the promenade, I think this will be the best so far.

Now for the important stuff:

Information:!
Assembly time is 9:00am Please try and get there earlier then that to make the line up to sign in easier on everyone. Also anyone there after 930 will not be allowed to be in the line-up. We start at 10am sharp rain or shine. We will start signing up people at 8am.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
All drivers of motor vehicles or floats must present a valid driver's license and proof of insurance prior to entry into the promenade Line Up.

Floats must meet the following restrictions:
May not be wider than 16 feet, higher than 15 feet, or longer than 40 feet. It must be able to easily navigate all turns in the promenade Route.

ROUTE:
The promenade begins at 3100 3rd Ave N (Parking Lot across from Georgie's Alibi) Winds Thru historic Kenwood, And ends on Central Ave at 21st st.
